Prepared 4 Life announces a generous new gift from Rockwell Fund, Inc.  On Sept. 19 Rockwell Fund’s Board of Trustees pledged a $300,000 multi-year grant in support of Prepared 4 Life’s ongoing operations.  The grant will allocate $100,000 per year for each of the next three years to the organization’s operating fund, providing a sound base of financial stability.

“Prepared 4 Life allows the kids to chose the activities in which they want to participate, yet each club program incorporates essential life lessons and skills into its activities, such as teamwork, goal-setting, budgeting and accountability.  And it does this during the time of day when many of these kids would be otherwise unsupervised.  There are just so many positives to this program," said Margaret McConn, Rockwell Fund Trustee. 

The gift is a tremendous affirmation of Prepared 4 Life’s work in the community, and the organization’s staff and volunteers alike are grateful to the Rockwell Fund for this show of support.
